Tribe Hotels Group is making waves in Kenya’s hospitality scene with their newest venture, Tribe Beach House, set to open this summer in picturesque Kilifi.
This innovative resort will comprise two distinct houses—one featuring eight rooms and the other five—complete with rooftop decks, pristine swimming pools, and an impressive wellness center that includes a gym, sauna, spa, and yoga studio.
Tribe Beach House aims to stand out through its creative and cultural initiatives. Expect seasonal artist residencies, engaging workshops, and unique culinary events designed to immerse guests in the local culture. Signature experiences such as the Kilifi Creative Studio will offer hands-on sessions in Swahili poetry and scent-making. Guests can also embark on curated dhow cruises, accompanied by musicians and historians, to deepen their understanding of the region.
Furthermore, Kilifi is gaining traction as a “coastal think tank,” offering learning retreats and enlightening discussions under baobab trees with local experts. Guests will have the chance to collaborate on public space projects alongside visiting artists and entrepreneurs, promoting a communal spirit and creativity.
The appeal of Kilifi extends beyond its cultural offerings; it’s committed to sustainability as well.
